Olga Smith

Olga Smith received her PhD from the University of Cambridge, and has held the Entente Cordiale Scholarship. Olga’s research interests lie at the intersection of photography, its history and theory, and modern and contemporary French art and thought. She has published a number of articles on French contemporary artists and is a co-editor of a collection of essays on the trope of memory in French culture, entitled Anamnesia: Private and Public Memory in Modern French Culture (Peter Lang: 2009). Olga has taught art history at the universities of St Andrews and Cambridge, and currently occupies the post of Curator, Adult Programmes at Tate Gallery, London.
