Michael Pritchard

Dr Michael Pritchard is a Research Associate at De Montfort University. His PhD examined the growth and development of British photographic manufacturing between 1839 and 1914 and was completed in 2010. His thesis won the Association of Business Historian’s Coleman Prize in 2012. He has a particular interest in the business and economics of photographic manufacturing and retailing.  He is Director-General of The Royal Photographic Society in Bath.
