Martina Corry graduated from the University of Ulster in 1999 with an M.F.A. (Distinction) specialising in photography. In 2000 her first solo exhibition ‘Photogenic Drawings’ opened at the Gallery of Photography, Dublin. Since then she has continued to exhibit nationally and internationally, in 2008 showing in China as part of ‘Drawing a Line: A Contemporary Survey of Northern Irish Art’ and ‘Standing in the Way of Control’ in Navan’s Solstice Arts Centre. Her work has represented the GTGallery as part of ‘A Dark Noise’ at the London Art Fair, 2007 and 2011 along side artists Susan MacWilliam and Allan Hughes. Her black and white work ‘Interruption II’ has been purchased for the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Collection.
