Jennifer Boyd

Jennifer Boyd is a creative/critical writer based in London. Boyd’s practice considers post-anarchist tactics, new media, feminism and girls, queer and radical theory, often through concept-engineering and image-writing. Boyd recently completed an MA in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Her thesis titled, “A Theory for the Strange-Girl: When will the Young-Girl be Destroyed?”, proposed a ‘vital mode’ for resisting the commodified girl body in response to Tiqqun’s Preliminary Materials for a Theory of the Young-Girl (1999). Projects include the concept essay for Feeling Queezy?!, an upcoming exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Estonia. You can follow her on Twitter @Th3StrangeGirl
