Clément Chéroux is Curator of Photography at the Centre Pompidou, Musée national d’art moderne, Paris, where he has curated exhibitions including La Subversion des images: surréalisme, photographie, film (2009), Brancusi: photographie, film (2011) and Edvard Munch: The Modern Eye (2011). He also curated Mémoire des camps. Photographies des camps de concentration et d'extermination nazis, 1933-1999 (2001), The Perfect Medium: Photography and the Occult (2004) and Shoot! Existential Photography (2010-2012). Chéroux is the executive director of photography journal Études Photographiques and the author of many publications, including monographs on August Strindberg and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
