Ben Burbridge

Dr. Ben Burbridge lectures in the history and theory of photography and postwar American and European art at the University of Sussex. His writing has appeared in a number of books and journals, including Grafik and Philosophy of Photography. Recently curated exhibitions include We Are Witnessing the Dawn of an Unknown Science (Permanent Gallery, Brighton, 2007), The Daily Nice Take Away (Kunsthaus, Essen, 2010) and Brighton Photo Biennial 2012, Agents of Change: Photography and the Politics of Space. Burbridge is currently working on an exhibition of scientific imagery to be shown at The Science Museum in 2013. He is the co-founder of Ph, Programme Curator at Photoworks and Co-Editor of Photoworks magazine.
